Welcome and installation by your pharmacist
A totally painless, non-invasive and rapid procedure, performed by a trusted professional.
When you arrive, your pharmacist explains each stage of the check-up. He or she then enters various data into the software to ensure a personalized analysis (age, weight, height, physical activity index, etc.).
He then places 4 ECG electrodes on your hands and above your ankles. No needles, no pain: just a few seconds to set up.
Step 3
Instant analysis of your key indicators
In less than 10 seconds, VitaScan draws up a complete assessment based on three major blocks of health indicators. This scientifically-validated data goes far beyond mere weight or BMI.
They provide information on your vitality, fitness, sleep quality and protein requirements. For example, your metabolic activity index detects fatigue, stress or deficiencies, while body protein content is a direct marker of nutritional status and muscle mass.
They can be used to identify the distribution between fat, muscle and bone mass, in order to pinpoint any imbalances.
Fat mass is the body's energy reserve: too much of it can increase cardiometabolic risk, while too little can weaken hormones and reduce vitality. Bone mineral content provides information on the quality and strength of your bones. It can reveal fragility linked, for example, to age, hormonal status, diet or lack of physical activity.
These indicators are essential for preventing undernutrition, sarcopenia and bone fragility.
They assess your overall hydration level and the distribution of water in your body.
Extracellular water (Ve) reflects recent and circulating hydration: too low a level can signal dehydration, while too high a level can reveal water retention.
Intracellular water (Vi) indicates the functional hydration of cells. It is essential for proper metabolic function, tissue tone and waste elimination.

VitaScan is suitable for everyone, from 6 years old: adults, teenagers, athletes, seniors, and anyone who wants to take control of their health.
Only a few specific situations are not compatible with the device:
- pregnant women
- wearers of active medical devices (e.g. pacemakers)
