Integrative health

A global, preventive vision of your health

Integrative health puts the individual at the heart of care. It combines conventional medicine, prevention and complementary approaches to support your health in its entirety: physical, emotional and environmental.

What is integrative integrative health?

Emerging in the USA in the 90s, integrative medicine places the individual at the heart of his or her journey and considers him or her as a whole.

It's no longer a question of focusing solely on illness and symptoms, but of seeking to understand the causes in depth, in order to act on all aspects of health: physical, mental, emotional and social.

It does not replace conventional medicine, but complements it. Thanks to a multi-disciplinary approach, it combines prevention, healthy living, balanced nutrition, stress management and a link with the environment, all in parallel with a conventional course of treatment.

A response to current health issues

We're living longer... but not always healthier.

Chronic stress, a sedentary lifestyle, unbalanced diet, air pollution, lack of sleep... these factors of our modern lifestyle accelerate the onset of chronic disorders and diseases.

Faced with the rise of these new ailments and a widespread sense of malaise, health education and daily prevention are becoming two cornerstones of a global approach to body care.

Where conventional medicine excels in managing symptoms, acute pathologies and emergencies, integrative health enables us to act upstream and improve the quality of life of each individual, according to his or her physiological state.

The 6 pillars of integrative health

Air quality, processed food, the incessant presence of screens... Your environment directly influences your well-being, and can affect your metabolic, cardiovascular and mental health.

Nutrition is a fundamental pillar of well-being and good health. The body needs energy and nutrients to function properly.

Beyond the taste aspect, a balanced diet rich in proteins, carbohydrates, fiber, good fats and micronutrients helps prevent obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Regular exercise is essential for a healthy body, both physically and mentally. Physical activity, adapted to each profile, improves :

  • cardiovascular health
  • the ability to move
  • emotional balance.

An integrative approach combines adapted activity and rest, so that effort becomes a source of vitality, without stress or excessive fatigue.

Far from being a waste of time, rest and sleep are essential to well-being. A good night's sleep promotes memory, learning capacity, immunity, a constant level of energy and a stable emotional balance.

Learning to sleep better is the key to staying fit and preventing chronic stress.

Temporary stress is natural and harmless. On the other hand, when it becomes chronic and cortisol levels soar, it can damage physical and mental health.

Deep breathing, meditation, cardiac coherence or yoga... These simple yet powerful integrative health tools have been proven to help you manage stress and restore a sense of inner well-being.

Gone are the days of the traditional vision of the patient-physician relationship. Integrative healthcare is finally based on a human dimension: listening, a relationship of trust and the active involvement of the patient in his or her care.

To stay in shape for as long as possible, patients need to take charge of their own lives.

That's why we firmly believe in a career path that is co-constructed with a professional: personalized assessment, tailored follow-up and concrete advice.

VitaScan, a practical tool for integrative healthcare

The VitaScan assessment is part of this integrative health approach. It assesses your body's parameters and identifies the major levers to be mobilized, whether in terms of diet, sleep or stress management. The aim? To improve your well-being.

You also benefit from a relationship of trust and support with your pharmacist, who gives you advice tailored to your profile.

In addition to personalized lifestyle advice, it offers natural solutions such as phytotherapy, aromatherapy and dietary supplements adapted to your current needs, and refers you to other professionals if necessary (hypnosis, physiotherapist...).
